ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dwight Lamb was born and raised in Los Angeles California, and currently resides in Arizona. For as long as Dwight can remember, he has been passionate about personal and professional development. As a young boy, his parents gave him a 1936 edition of Dale Carnegie's classic, "How to Win Friends and Influence People”

Early in his career he went to work for Jim Rohn, a personal-development icon. It was in Dwight’s early years that he realized he wanted to make a difference in the lives of people, and knew he needed to learn from the masters.

From then on he had researched, read, and studied some of the most dynamic works from the masters of motivation, personal growth, leadership and organizational excellence. His personal library of books and audio programs has grown over the years to number in the thousands.

At the age of twenty-four, Dwight was National Sales & Educational Specialist for a major manufacturer of hair care products. His responsibilities included training the national & international distributor base in such areas as sales, marketing, and customer service.

As an advocate of life-long learning, Dwight chose to enter the financial service industry and became a licensed insurance agent. Through dynamic mentors, hard work, and applying what he had learned from the experts, Dwight soon became a Sales Manager, District Manager, and Regional Vice-President, with 8 managers and over 60 financial consultants in his agency.

He later served as National Director of Training and Business Development for a Major University. It was throughout these years of experience that he developed a love for coaching others, building teams, and helping people realize that their positive choices would create habits that would build a positive, productive, and fulfilling life.

As a speaker and trainer, Dwight’s passion to make a difference in the personal and professional lives of business men and women, has given him the opportunity to contract with some of the nation’s largest corporations and organizations.

Dwight admits that one of his greatest joys is working with teenagers. He has had the opportunity to speak to thousands of young people a year, at junior high, high school, college and university campuses, and church groups.

For Dwight, the thrill of helping others realize their uniqueness and self-worth is a tremendous reward. He says he has found his ultimate passion and purpose. He quotes Mark Twain who said, "Two of the greatest days in a person's life, is the day they were born and the day they discovered why.“

Dwight confesses that his greatest assets are his wife Joanie, his six children, Jason, Jarrod, Jeremy, Jenna, Kevin and Kolby. The assets have grown however, with daughter-in-law Robin, Rachel, Lexi, and Rachelle and son-in-law Curt, along with sixteen grandchildren . . . to date!
